AIVibers Launch: What We Learned in the First 30 Days

30 days ago, we launched AIVibers. No big event, no PR agency, no millions in funding behind us. Just a landing page, a working product, and the conviction that software outsourcing needs to be better. Here's what we learned.

The founding idea was simple: why isn't there a platform that connects AI-native freelancers with a fixed-price guarantee? Upwork and Fiverr optimize for the cheapest hourly rate. Toptal charges hefty placement fees. We wanted a third way: AI-powered scoping, fair fixed prices, and verified quality.

In the first 30 days, we received 127 project inquiries. 43 became active projects. The average project size was €1,900 — lower than expected, but the conversion rate from inquiry to project (34%) significantly exceeded our forecasts.

Surprising learning #1: Most inquiries didn't come from startups, but from established mid-market companies. Marketing agencies, real estate firms, and trade businesses — companies that had never commissioned software development because it seemed too expensive and too risky. Fixed pricing massively lowered the barrier to entry.

Surprising learning #2: The Vibe AI Engine was more precise than expected. The deviation between AI estimate and actual effort was just 11.3%. We had planned for 20%. This shows: with enough project data, AI can estimate software projects better than most humans.

What we need to improve: onboarding. Three customers waited several days after payment for their Viber because our matching process still contained manual steps. That's unacceptable and will be our focus for the next sprint: fully automated matching within 4 hours.

Our vision for the next 90 days: 200+ active Vibers, automated matching under 4 hours, and a repeat customer rate of 40%. We believe AI-native software outsourcing isn't a niche — it's the future. And we're just getting started.
